Played infield for half a season for the Springfield Capitals and was then signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Continued with the Pirates for a year and half then returned to the Capitals. Earned most outstanding player, sluggers award and the gold glove award for the year. Also hit 15 home runs, a personal best. I later played for a professional California league. |
